Yeah, you're right. /Not signed.
I've thought of that sometime how it would be like but the chance of creating unbeatable builds is just too high and would only annoy people.
Re-designing several skills to prevent that would be to time consuming.

Closest you'll ever get, and for a good reason. Even for PvE, there is a good reason.

[glyph of swiftness] + [deadly paradox] + [shadow form] same thing... and it's destroying the game :/

yeah but that combo isn't usable in pvp, so its not a big deal. And anet has already shown that they don't really care about how easy pve is.

Yes lets just give shock axe warriors [eviscerate] and [triple chop] in the same bar with [executioners strike]...
/endsarcasm
I doubt this would ever happen even for PvE.

It MIGHT be a cool idea for PvE... but... is very unlikely. It'd turn up more whining and bitching from the community than anything.

Especially for PvP. This may work in PvE, as you can basically beat HM with 3 skills, much less an elite, but even then, it would just turn into a huge farm-fest.

[headbutt] + [contagion]
[ether renewal] + [thunderclap]
[Signet of illusions] + any elite spell you want
Possibities are endless. This is a horrible idea for anything but farming, and farming is already easy enough if you know how.

I would play an Ele all weekend, once I farmed UW for a bit.
Fun concept to play with in your head, but realistically not all that great of a game improvement =/.
